Benchmark International is seeking a driven and detail-oriented operations professional to join our leadership team as the Director of Operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Operations will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Tampa transaction office operations. This individual, working collaboratively with the Tampa Managing Director, will oversee daily workflows, enforce company process and policy compliance, enhance team productivity, and maintain the quality of our client experience. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proactive approach to managing operations, continuous improvement, driving through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and cross-functional coordination.  

Job Responsibilities 

  • Oversee team adherence to Benchmark's established processes, procedures, and client service standards.
  • Oversee initiatives that are uniform across the business and aligned with business strategies.
  • Manage and streamline daily operations to ensure a responsive, high-performance work environment.
  • Lead dashboard management, portfolio reviews, and regular performance tracking for all operational activities.
  • Maintain oversight of employee compliance with internal policies, including attendance, dress code, and conduct in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Support administrative aspects of recruiting and new hire onboarding; oversee office orientation processes in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Coordinate team schedules, time-off requests, and assist with other staffing-related logistics in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Review and process employee human resources and administrative functions in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Provide direct feedback to enhance and refine operational protocols in collaboration with Central Operations leadership.
  • Promote and implement company-wide initiatives created by company leadership, ensuring consistent adoption and execution.
  • Distribute workload across team members to maintain balance and efficiency. 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of operations experience in a professional services environment; prior leadership experience required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead teams while holding them accountable to high performance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and service excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with performance dashboards and workflow tracking systems.
  • Ability to obtain a real estate sales associate license withing a designated time frame.
  • This is an in-office role, Monday thru Friday, no remote or hybrid options.
  • Professional business attire required. 

Compensation 

Benchmark International offers a competitive compensation and benefit package, which includes the following: On target earnings of $125,000 - $175,000, paid training, company paid leave (holidays, vacation), recognition initiatives, team-building outings, career advancement opportunities and more.
