Our client, an established organization in Rancho Cordova, CA is looking for a dynamic **EDM** **Supervisor** to join their team! **Salary: $70k - $90k** **Responsibilities:** + Leads EDM Operators, & EDM Programmers. + Communicates - schedule/ downtime / delays an overall operational status to Production Manager and other department managers. + Maintain safety compliance and promote safe working behaviors within the department + Coordinates with the Production Manager on estimates for larger jobs + Calculate total material required to complete a job based on part geometry **Qualifications** + Degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred or 8-10 years' experience + A minimum of 3- 5 years working with EDM wire & sinker machines + 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred + Advanced understanding of EDM wire and sinker machine operations - Specifically Fanuc & Sodick EDM machines + Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning + Intermediate ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauge pins) _*A complete job description will be provided*_ If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and I will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
