RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute unloading/receipt of incoming finished products, parts, and materials including chemicals
delivered via palletized tractor trailer and floor loaded ocean containers approximately twice a week.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead or supervisor.
Responsible for putting away incoming products and materials and keeping dock area organized and
clean.
Responsible for following and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Able to use forklift. (training available)
Stage raw materials for production team as needed.
Stage product for shipping warehouse as needed and assist in delivering to west warehouse.
Return unused staged materials from Production back into Warehouse location.
Will be interacting with multiple departments when required. (Production, QA, Accounting, Shipping,
etc.)
Work closely with Receiving Technician II for daily workflow.
Process all required transactions in the Company’s Business System.
Operation of the corrugated box baler.
Flexibility to cross train in other areas of the company to assist when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with receiving and/or warehousing, not required but advantageous.
Frequently lift and/or move items over 40lbs for extended periods (1-2 hours).
Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jacks. (Passing the forklift training)
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to learn the Company’s Business
System.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be organized and detail oriented.
Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Be a positive, motivated person for the Receiving/Warehouse area.
Basic math skills required.
Be able to follow instructions as assigned by supervisor.
Be able to communicate issues within the Receiving Department procedures and suggest
improvements.
Physical Job Requirements:
Position requires periods of moderately intense physical effort. Floor loaded containers need to be
unloaded and palletized. This requires 1-2 hours of lifting boxes up to 40lbs and stacking by part
number and lot number.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile
and move throughout the facility in a safe manner.
The employee is required to successfully interact with a computer and spend time sitting at a desk.
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals both external and internal to the company in
written, verbal and interpersonal forms required.
