Department:FAES | Plant Pathology The Fang Laboratory at The Ohio State University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to support projects investigating the molecular genetics of fungal and oomycete pathogens. The successful candidate will contribute to studies aimed at understanding the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying pathogen virulence and adaptation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment focused on advancing molecular fungal genetics and plant pathology research. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree (with 1–2 years of relevant experience) or master's degree in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, plant pathology, or a closely related field.
This is a full-time, 12-month appointment, term position with initial funding for two years. Renewal may be possible based on satisfactory performance and the continued availability of funding
