Job Summary:

You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them.


Provide legendary hospitality experiences by assisting guests with room reservations, activity reservations and offering information of the surrounding area. Exceeding our guests’ expectations is our primary responsibility. A consistently pleasant demeanor, attention to detail,extensive phone and computer work is required. You must be a team player

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $17.75/hr 
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 
  • Location: Jackson Lake Lodge 
  • Shift Type: Full Time 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Enter, change and cancel reservations through phone and mail requests for Headwaters Lodge & Cabins, other GTLC properties as needed, and visitor activities.
  • Provide area information, activity information, and detailed lodging information.
  • Substantial phone and computer work.
  • Respond to both mail and telephone requests for information quickly and accurately.
  • Preparing envelopes for brochure distribution, sorting bulk mail and forwarding brochures.
  • Answers reservations phone within 2 rings.
  • Responds to mail inquiries within 24 hours.
  • A thorough knowledge of the area required (after arrival).
  • Must communicate effectively with guests and all departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional office.
  • Attention to detailed and accurate computer and paperwork is necessary.
  • Become knowledgeable of room sizes, rates and the surrounding area.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Receive and transfer calls as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous data processing or computer experience is required. Must be familiar with keyboard and data entry.
  • Typing skills of 35-45 WPM.
  • Must pass computer system competency test upon completion of training.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • An ability to work closely with others and work as a member of the team A pleasant and professional disposition is mandatory at all times. A willingness to help individuals unfamiliar with the area
  • An excellent speaking voice and formal phone etiquette
  • An ability to function under heavy pressure with constant phone use, to perform repetitive tasks and disperse the same information repeatedly
  • An ability to work closely with others and work as a member of the team
  • Must have a well-groomed and professional appearance.
