1. Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs with best practices in mind.
- Develop and optimize Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Flows.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or platform events.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated deployment processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and admins to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and perform technical code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
2. Technical Requirements
Core Salesforce Development:
- Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs, schedulable, future methods, queueables).
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura Components.
- Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes.
- SOQL, SOSL, Platform Events.
Integrations:
- REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, External Services.
- Middleware experience (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
DevOps & Tools:
- CI/CD (Copado, Salesforce DevOps Center, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Version control (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
Data Management:
- Data Loader, ETL tools.
- Governor limits and performance optimization.
Testing & Quality:
- Unit test coverage (75%+).
- Familiarity with ApexMocks or testing frameworks.
Architecture & Security:
- Understanding of Salesforce data model and sharing/security model.
- Experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations.
3. Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Prior involvement in enterprise-scale projects with integrations and complex data models.
4. Salesforce certifications (must-have at least one, preferably multiple):
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (required).
- Salesforce Platform App Builder.
5. Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Data warehousing solutions (AWS or Snowflake)
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular) alongside LWC.
- Knowledge of Wordpress & SEO.
