Job Description
This position is responsible for monitoring daily compliance with all Company security policies and procedures among employees, visitors, vendors and contractors.
Essential Job Functions - Patrol premises to prevent and detect sign of intrusion and ensure security for doors, windows and gates.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances and/or security complaints.
- Monitor the authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other person to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
- Warn person of rule infractions or violations, and evict violators from premises, calling police when necessary.
- Monitor proxy card identification system and surveillance cameras, making sure that all systems are working properly.
- Escort or drive company-motorized vehicle to transport individuals to specified designated locations. Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air condition, furnace, or boilers.
- Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies)- Must have knowledge and understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations or the protection of our company’s people, data, and property.
- Must have good listening skills and be social perceptiveness to others.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and express good judgment and decision-making capability.
Education And Experience - High School diploma preferred.
- Security experience is a plus.
Base Compensation Range : $15.77 - $23.65 per hour
Variable Compensation Range : Incentive bonus eligibility up to 10% of gross annual salary base on company performance (as of 2024).

Professional office environment with some time spent in a manufacturing shop. Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets, etc.). Frequent presence on the manufacturing floor as well as field operations. Exposure to conditions, such as: dust, fumes, noise and high-degree varying seasonal temperatures.
